First Colony Mall in Sugar Land, TX is hands down one of the best shopping destinations around! The mall is always clean, well-organized, and has such a welcoming atmosphere. I love the variety of stores whether I’m looking for fashion, electronics, or gifts, they always have what I need. The staff at the stores are incredibly friendly and helpful, making every visit a pleasure. Parking is easy to find, and the layout makes navigating between stores a breeze. It’s also great for families, with plenty of spots to relax and grab a bite. Every time I visit, I leave with a smile and a great shopping experience. Since I’m elderly they are always willing and able to help me. Highly recommend!

Visiting from Dallas, I had the pleasure of exploring First Colony Mall in Sugar Land, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the entire mall was. The atmosphere was welcoming, modern, and very well-organized, making it easy to navigate through all the different sections without feeling overwhelmed. One of the biggest highlights for me was POPMART and the wide variety of stores. Whether you’re into fashion, electronics, beauty, or just window shopping, there’s truly something for everyone here. From well-known brands to unique boutique shops, the mall offers a fantastic mix of retailers. I especially appreciated the layout—everything felt spacious, and even on a busy weekend, it never felt overly crowded. The food court had a great selection of dining options ranging from quick snacks to full meals. It was also spotless, with plenty of seating and friendly staff at most of the restaurants. I also noticed several nice sit-down dining options scattered throughout the mall for those wanting a more relaxing meal. It was great to stop by at our local mall. I was happy to see plenty of good stores to shop at. We were looking for a jeweler that could change our watch batteries. We found some nice guys at J.R. Brothers that did just that. They took care of us and as we waited I dropped by Swavorski’s across the way which always has lovely things and reasonably priced for quality jewelry. There was a busy vibe at the mall and I was happy to see shoppers visiting and it looks like people were actually buying stuff and not just hanging out like most malls have become.

UPDATE: I am still impressed with the variety of stores here and the less headache compared to Galleria. I only wished there were fewer parking issues compared to Katy Mills. This is the mall to go to if you live in the surrounding area. There are strong anchor stores like Macy's and Dicks Sporting Goods. There is a huge range of smaller tenants which offers you a near one-stop shopping experience. Because it is mainly one floor, First Colony Mall is good for those with mobility issues. There's a lot of space to maneuver around. The food area has a good range of food options along with well-known brands like Chick-fil-A. You'll find a food stall for your tastebuds! Parking is plenty here too so there's plenty of good reasons to come here!

Great mall but still not at the same level as the galleria. Could use some more high end stores but they do have a few. The mall is clean and well organized. The outdoor shopping area was a nice idea and vibe but it was like a ghost town, I don’t know if It was only because it was a Monday but I saw about 5 other people. The sidewalks and driveways were also cracked and seemed not finished. I loved the shades and the chairs that they had on the turf outside.
